Dinosaur's Door Sky Watch Friday ...

It's been wicked cold here on The Prairie. I've been taking photos of things that look the part. This little building was once a Sinclair gas station here in town. The Dinosaur was phased out in 1969 when Atlantic Richfield bought Sinclair ... big mistake. Who "dumps" a Dinosaur ? It was -8 degrees when I snapped the Dinosaur and his door:
It may be cold skies here on The Prairie, but at Sky Watch Friday you'll find warm ones too. We're here to remind you to look up. And while you're doing so, don't miss what's in the trees.

  3. I think minus 8 might be too cold for a Dino - I think that's why he's turned bright green, Laurie! Stay warm there on the Prairie.

  4. Wow, that is cold! I like both these photos. The first one looks like an HDR shot... very nice!

  5. -8 degrees is no temperature for me! But I do appreciate it that you're going outside for us so we can enjoy the dinosaur as well :-) Have a nice weekend!

  6. I remember seeing that dinosaur on Sinclair stations when I went to Montana in 1990. Guess they were old signs still hanging around! I thought it was a great little logo.
