Sizzling Sky Watch Friday ...

The perfect color of a Spanish Village Tex Mex Cheese Enchilada ... on Almeda Road, Houston. And that's my Houston Dewdrop Duranta that I hauled up here to the Prairie. It's my heaviest plant, yet it has the distinct luxury of being carried out in the Spring and back to the Porch in the Fall.

At that time, the blossoms are replaced with berries the color of my Enchiladas. I mean my Sunset. To see into other Skies and Lives around the Planet http://www.skyley.blogspot.com

How The Sugar Wolf Got Her Nick Name ...

One day Ron was walking Ruby Thursday in our Houston neighborhood, West University. Heading south on Belmont he saw a Little Girl walking towards him, hand in hand with her Mother.

Ron pulled Ruby's leash in and eased up onto our neighbor's lawn and off of the sidewalk. As they passed by the Girl said to Ron ... "Is that a Wolf ?"

HAIR ...

As you can see in the photo, I am the Adult Child of a Dysfunctional Family.

My Brothers hair still looks exactly the same ... it's just in a pony tail. And Mom's? If it were still as thick today, I bet she would have it up there. Dad with his Crew style? It went out, along with him.

So what's the problem? It's my Brother's HAIR ! He was supposed to have had a hair cut the night before ... it's his Wedding Day. And the reason my Parents are so wigged out?

He did.

Midnight, The Shetland Pony From Horse Hell ...

See the Pony ? See the Pony posing with the Girls ? See the Pony being lovingly welcomed into the Family ?

See the Pony running for the barn at 100 miles an hour ? With Laurie on it's back ? See the Pony making that sharp left ? See Laurie flying off ? And landing in that pile of fresh Cow Shit ?

Some things you don't want to ever forget ...

Like your Baby Sister's beautiful smile ... The one that's been gone from your life for a few years now. And your Mother's Pearls ... That she never questioned wearing with her summer tops and shorts. Your Grandmother ... Her home made cotton Dress with the pink Roses.

And then there's Me ... Where in the hell did I leave my shirt ?

The Carnival Is In Town ...

And you will never find my Boyfriend on a ride that spins around while you are being spun around ...

Once Upon A Farm ...

There lived a family of Rabbits who were about to be dealt with by the Farm Wife. But they were able to sense, in the nick of time, that she was developing a plan. The Rabbits rethought the future of the Lupins ... and everyone lived happily ever after.

OMG ... I Get To Take Credit For This ...

It's a Baby Watermelon ... and I have 30 of them. I put the plant in a pot so I have to move it to the Garden. They can touch ground and spread out there. These Babies are supposed to grow to 20 lbs. Yikes !

The Citruline, mostly in the rind, works like Viagra. This Farming stuff is waaaay to much fun ...
