A Day at President Jefferson's ...

It was raining lightly the day Ron and I spent at Thomas Jefferson's Virginia estate. The colors were saturated, just as I like them, and we took a very pretty walk through his beautiful vegetable gardens, along the vast willow lined meadow to the family cemetery, and then disappeared into his forest for the one mile stroll down from Monticello. Vacations are wonderful ... but home is too.

  1. What a glorious garden indeed. He was a genius, wasn't he?

  2. I absolutely love Monticello and have visited three times. What a lovely photo you have shared.

  3. Since I'm under snowdrifts here in CO, you colorful photo is mighty welcome!
