Dandelions ...

are actually pretty cool. I had forgotten about them until I moved back to The Prairie. They just aren't acceptable on a maintained lawn back in West University. They were named in Old French, Dent de Lion, which means Lion's Tooth, the shape of their leaves.

We don't eat them ... yet ... but they sure are good for you. Please pass the Vitamins B-1, B-2, B-5, B-6, B-12, C, E, P, and D ... I'm craving Biotin, Inositol, Potassium, Phosphorus, Magnesium, and Zinc.

  2. They're good for you? You eat them? How do you eat them? In tacos?

Thanks for checking in, we're in AZ and I'm finding it hard to post (sharing one computer with the kids).
So far, so good, with the trip. We're glad we made the trip down. 3 weeks more in the Valley of the Sun.
Heard it's been a bit rainy and cool up in SD - Dad said they canceled the Watertown Sunday night races. (He tries to go every week.)
