Out of Africa ...

I had been working outside since about 9 this morning. When I came in at 3, Out of Africa was just starting. I was able to listen to it while I got a few things done, then watched the last hour. What a fabulous movie. The costumes are unbelievable and I think I may need to hit EBay for the soundtrack. Ron is mowing ... I love my life.

  1. I too love that movie. Some of those good ones you can watch over and over again.
    The lilacs are gorgeous.
I tagged you for a meme a day ago...don't remember if I let you know it or not. you don't have to do it if you don't want to.
    Take care-suz

  2. That is one of my favorite movies of all time, though I felt Redford was miscast. He is so beautiful to look at, and a wonderful actor, but his character was supposed to be British! I love the guy who played her husband. How about the scene where she rides out to find her husband in the war (she is all scratched up and messy), and he says, "You've changed your hair." We also love Michael Kitchen, who played Berkely Cole in that movie. If you like him, too, he is also in a BBC series called "Foyle's War" that we love (you can get those on Netflix). Anyway,it sounds as if you had a lovely day, and I'm so glad. Thank you for your kind comments to me.
